Last year when I learned that a friend of mine is in a Comenius Project in their school, I wanted to be in a project like that.And then, I found out that our school is in the same project. I became really happy and I joined this project.

 The most important advantages of this project are; seeing  foreign  countries and having  communication with them and learning their culture and knowing important things about foreign countries.

 First; foreign students from different countries came to Ankara, we introduced our country as well as we could, we talked about our history and we entertained with honor and respect them in the best way. It was a really good advantage for us that lots  of students from different countries came and by that way, we made very good friendships with them.Because I am studying English in high school and  I also want to study English in the university too, it was really good for me to   develop my English. After they went back to their country, we kept in touch via internet and mails.

Before school had started, our teachers told us that we were going to Spain because we, three of us hosted the Spanish students. So I was one of them to go. After we did the necessary preparations we went to Spain. We stayed in Madrid for two nights and we saw the sightseeing places of Madrid and the museums. And then we went to students’ homes in Valladolid.The next day we went to city of Salamanca and we made a short trip around the city to see the sightseeing and historical places.

The following day we visited their school and also some classes to see the similarities and the differences between ours and theirs.We did our presentation about Turkey,  we met their friends. The next day we performed our record about Turkish education system by means of telephone, and it was recorded by the Luxembourg group. During our stay they and their families welcomed us very well.We had really great time in Spain. I am very happy to be involved in this project. And I, myself thank to my teachers and my school headmaster for having chance. I want to keep on taking up my position with any help I can do.

The programme for your visit is :

5th Thursday: arrival at Madrid. Going to the  youth 

hostel that all of us will stay in.

6th Friday: a touristic visit in Madrid. In the evening, arrival at 

Valladolid. Meeting  of the turkish students with Spanish families at the station.

7th Saturday: Visiting Valladolid city.

8th Sunday: Visiting Leon city.

9th Monday: Visiting Salamanca city

10th Tuesday: Visiting Valladolid museums.

11th Wednesday: departure.
