MY IMPRESSIONS ABOUT THE VISIT TO BELGIUM

Frst of all, there is something which I can not help mentioning about. I am glad to have been to Belgium. It was very nice to have met those new friends, to have known about our teachers from all around Europe.

Before I visited Belgium, I had never been abroad, so this nice country was an amazing start for me. I am sure that I will never forget this experience. When we went there, I learnt so much about Belgium. Some history, some architecture, some geographie and such things…

The most exciting thing in Belgium for me was atomium.To me, it is a real artwork. And the view from the top of this building was so impressive.

Brussels is a very good and tidy city. I liked it very much. It gave me the impression that everything in this city was systematic. The transports are never late, the buildings are generally similar to each other, green of nature is the dominant colour, and the streets are clean. These were what appealed to me.

Our teachers helped us a lot. They were always trying to make us comfortable. They struggled to make us fell like at home. So I will never forget their favours. I hope, one day, these people I talked about will come to Turkey. And I will welcome them as kindly as they did when we were there.

A last thing to say. I love learning foreign languages, foreign cultures, meeting new friends. So I love Belgium.

Belgium is different from Turkey.One day if you go there, you can understand what I mean. The five days which I spent in Belgium were just like a dream. It was amazing for me. With ıts culture, cities, meals, people and the styles of the buildings.

If you want, you can take a romantic cruise down a canal in Bruges, enjoy waffles on the beach in Ostende, frolic in a festival in Binche, and explore a fine art museum in Brussels within the span of a day

I think the most interesting city in Belgium is Brussels. It is one of the great cosmopolitan capitals home to both European Union and NATO, as well as a wealth of international trade and finance companies.

And of course , wherever you go, you can see how systematic the traffic is. Everbody is respectful to each other. The roads are very small, but I did not see any traffic jam there. It was very impressive for me.

All friends in this project were very charming to me. We talked about lots of things . Especially our cultures, traditional food, sports, music…..I learned plenty of knowledge about other cultures.

Finally, the time passed too fast. Belgıum visit was an unforgettable experience for me. Moreover, it changed my opinions about languages. And one day if you go there, you should taste Belgıum’s beer and chocolate (especially beer)…
